Dear Second Life Traders of ISE,

I wanted to take a moment to explore wether there is a good interest on the publication of a short book regarding second life investment history that I have been thinking about publishing. As some of you know I have a real life background in freelance writing and journalism that has proven useful for this pursuit. During my two years in Second Life I have experienced several meaningful events in the second life economy and compiled for my personal collection lots of factual data. I believe it is the moment I share this with all interested parties in a insightful book in which I will explore these topics

1) The Main Second Life Exchanges and their History
    Insight on the WSE Scheme
Banking Ban and its effect on exchanges
    Qualities of a sucessful exchange
Things all traders should see as red flags.

2) Brautigan Tuck Holdings and Intlibbers Brautigan sudden collapse
How a seemingly prosperous land business and exchange felt victim to poor management.

3) The fall and restructure of BDVR and how a CEO can crash a sucessful company.
The direct role CEO'S play in a company wellbeing and who should not be a ceo

4) Current companies that continue to deliver value

5) Unbonbom & "The Tale of The Thousand Ventures"

6) AON path from promising venture to shell company.

This are just some of the things I have selected in the case there is market for this book and thats why I am doing this post. To measure wether you the average treader would buy a copy for yourself or to give friends a outlook on the current second life securities trading.

If the public response is positive I plan to make this available through a website that offers both a E-Book version and a written copy. It is very easy to use and just a matter of knowing how to make a paypal payment. I will attempt to make this book as moderately priced as possible but please bear in mine it will be the fruit of hours of research and writing so it will be priced fairly.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts,

Matt Carter
